Snowglobe Solutions
Ready to use snowglobe solutions for tumbler makers, available in three different flow styles so you can choose the movement and finish that suits your design.
Available Formulas
Suspended – No Flow / Total Suspension
Designed to hold glitter in place throughout the solution with little to no movement. Ideal when you want the glitter to remain fully suspended rather than flowing through the tumbler.
Medium Flow
A balanced solution that allows glitter to move freely while still giving a slower, smooth snowglobe effect.
Fast Flow
A thinner solution designed for quicker glitter movement and a more fluid snowglobe effect.
Important Information for Suspended Solution
Suspended Solution must NOT be used with glow in the dark or UV colour changing glitters or pigments.
Glow in the dark and UV reactive additives can destabilise the suspension system.
If the suspension is destabilised, the solution can lose its total suspension consistency and become water like. If this happens, it will no longer hold the glitter in place and the glitter will fall to the bottom of the tumbler.
This includes:
- Glow in the dark glitter
- Glow in the dark pigments
- UV colour changing glitter
- UV colour changing pigments
If you are unsure whether a glitter or pigment contains glow in the dark or UV reactive additives, check the manufacturer's product information before using it with Suspended Solution.

How to Use
How to Use
Fill your prepared snowglobe tumbler slowly, allowing the solution to work its way around the glitter and into any air pockets.
Pour carefully and steadily to avoid introducing unnecessary bubbles.
Do not completely overfill straight away. Leave yourself a little room for topping up once the solution and glitter have settled.
Once filled, follow the degassing instructions below before permanently sealing your tumbler.
Degassing Your Finished Tumbler
Degassing Your Finished Tumbler
Once your tumbler has been filled with Snowglobe Solution, it needs time to degas before being permanently sealed.
Leave the finished filled tumbler to degas for a minimum of 48 hours.
During this time:
- Turn the tumbler as often as possible
- Rotate it into different positions to encourage trapped air to move
- Shake the tumbler thoroughly as often as possible
- Allow bubbles time to rise and escape
- Top up with additional solution if required as trapped air works its way out
- A light spritz of isopropyl alcohol can be used on surface bubbles to help pop them
The more you turn and move the tumbler during the degassing period, the better chance trapped air has of working its way out.
Do not permanently seal the fill hole until you are happy that the tumbler has fully degassed and no significant air pockets remain.

Things to Keep in Mind
Things to Keep in Mind
Different glitters and decorative inclusions can behave differently depending on their size, weight, coating and material.
Chunky glitter, fine glitter, shaped glitter and mixes may all behave slightly differently within the same solution.
For this reason, results can vary depending on the materials used in your tumbler.
Always test unfamiliar speciality glitters or pigments before using them in a finished product.
Store your Snowglobe Solution tightly sealed and away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
